| The Astronomical Society of NSW exists to bring together people interested in Astronomy and related sciences, and to promote public interest and education in Astronomy. The ASNSW provides members and the general public access to Astronomical observing facilities, educational lectures, and assistance in selecting, using and even building telescopes and related instruments.

| The 17th Annual South Pacific Star Party was a wild success once again with more than 300 people attending, despite the weather being, well, less than desirable for such an event. If you have any feedback, comments or suggestions in relation the the 17th SPSP, please let us know.
The 18th Annual SPSP will be held over the weekend of 14 - 16 May, 2010. Registrations are now open! To register for the SPSP, complete an online registration form.
