Abstract: Solar System debris - smashed asteroids and litter from Earth’s space programs. Where is it now and will it hit us?
Biography: Lesa Moore has been an amateur astronomer since 1986. Through running courses in basic astronomy and working at three public-access observatories in NSW, she has gained extensive experience in public outreach and has a real knack of explaining things for a general audience. At a professional level, she studied at Macquarie University and completed a Master of Philosophy in Astronomy in 2008. Till 2011, Lesa was back at uni, lecturing physics to students of nursing and environmental science. Now she enjoys public outreach with the ASNSW and Princess Cruises.
