Deep Sky Imaging for Beginners will run at the start of the meeting, followed by other topics/activities as notified through the AI email mailing list.

24 October 2018 - Session 8: Where to from here?

Presentation: Final Wrap-up

Here we will expand on the equipment you will need for astrophotography—the importance of the mount and how to choose a camera.

What other options are there? We have only looked at one aspect of astrophotography, namely still photos of deep sky objects. Other popular pursuits are time lapse photography and planetary photography and we will outline what is needed for these in terms of method and equipment.

Objective: Rise from beginner to expert. Explore further astrophotography activities
Motivation: Improve our capabilities. Find an activity that best suits an individual.
