Wiruna Observing

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission this July, the movie "First Man" will be played in the Meeting Hall at a time to be advised on the Saturday of this weekend.

Members and bone fide astronomy visitors are welcome at any of the scheduled observing weekends. (Wiruna is not a public camping ground.) These weekends are the perfect opportunity for members and visitors to get together with other amateurs, to look through a wide range of different types and sizes of telescopes, and are perfect for new members to determine what type of telescope is best suited to their own personal needs.

Anyone hoping to join us at any one of these weekends can Email us to make any arrangements.

Small fees are levied for camping or for the use of the bunkhouse or lodge. Members can access full details here: http://www.asnsw.com/node/755.
