Renewed interest in Solar Observing following articles on the work of Lorraine Mensunsky has demonstrated a possible relationship between Sunspot maxima and the number of pot holes in the dirt road leading into Wiruna.
While the exact cause has not yet been established, possible neutrino impacts are under suspicion. The phenomena is sufficiently consistent that road repairs can be scheduled in advance to co-incide with anticipated solar activity.
