Product Review: Orthocrapic Eyepiece

Test results have just come to hand on a new and exciting eyepiece launched this year by the most respected optical house in Walla Walla, Washington State, and on sale at all good telescope shops and Pizza Parlours.

With a claimed 98° field of view, and a seventeen-element optical system crafted from a combination of cubic zirconium, rutile, and flint glass lenses, with a 5mm diameter synthetic diamond lens at the heart of the system, the eyepiece has new levels of clarity, a complete absence of ghosting and is free from coma right to the edge of the field in any optical system from f/3 through to f/18.

Available in 10mm, 20mm and 30mm, being sold under the name "Orthocrapic" these eyepieces are a steal at only US $999, plus state taxes where applicable.
