Website down due to Frankenstorm

The ASNSW website was unavailable for some hours on 30th October 2012. The servers for our CiviCRM system are located in Massachusetts, at the northern extremity of Hurricane Sandy - the likely cause of the outage. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The ASNSW Young Writer Award 2012 - Enter now!

The Astronomical Society of New South Wales (ASNSW) Young Writer Award is a competition for talented students interested in astronomy. The competition is open to school students from Year 8 to Year 11 and is designed to encourage students to write articles on astronomy for publication in the ASNSW’s “Universe” journal.
