This is a series of articles compiled by our (late) Treasurer and keen observer, Max Gardner AM, discussing bright objects worth observing each month, which are transiting the meridian.
The articles are all re-printed from the ASNSW's monthly Journal UNIVERSE. They appeared in various issues in the late 1990s. Max served as Treasurer from 1993 to 2001 and, sadly, passed away in 2004.
