Crago Observatory

Date & Time
15 October 2022 5:00 PM - 11:56 PM
(UTC+11:00) Australia/Sydney

Crago Observatory is located on the Burralow Fire Trail (off Lt Bowen Rd) at Bowen Mountain, near North Richmond. For safety reasons, visitors should arrive before dark. There is a grassed area adjacent to the observatory suitable for setting up telescopes. The 22" telescope in the dome may not be available until fully commissioned. Observing may begin during twilight depending on celestial targets available.

The operation of the Observatory on scheduled nights relies on the availability of volunteers from the ASNSW.

Please check our Crago Observatory Facebook Page for current status, the weather call on the date, and any other important updates.

Any further queries may be emailed to vp_crago(at)asnsw.com.
