Title: Star Stuff
Speaker: Dr Alex Hill
Abstract: Stars, including the Sun, form from gas in the near-vacuum of space between stars. In turn, the largest stars drive motions in this gas through their lives and, ultimatley, deaths as supernova explosions. I will present observations and computer simulations of the dynamic evolution of star-forming gas in our Milky Way Galaxy.
